Yes l am still applying online, in Luxembourg of all places; ADEM the national agency instructed me to apply on line... Its been nearly six months ans l am becoming surer by the minute that this job hunt is a waste of time. Something intesting happened today, l applied for an entry level job with Lombard, an insurance company which reprsents itself as a financial services provider. Well within three hours my application was rejected. So l wrote an email stating, that l think it was a fake job offer, and asked whom l had to pay for a job. That is another story in Luxembourg. So Jobs.lu, which is based in Belgium phones my mother, with a blank or hidden phone number and shouted at her, telling her that l should not make idle threats as l would be black listed, and they don't hire arabs, as the phone came from the middle east. This is racist ofcourse, but more concerning, appart from data mining, the nature of the threats. This social media job hunting industry is very sensitive... T
